Uncertain Cities
At the request of Skulptur-Projekte 2027, the focus lies on potential sites for art in public realms. Drawing on the concept of heterotopia, we understand the city as a fabric of places or situations with their own rules, temporalities and orders. We are exploring spaces with inherent potential: functionally undefined, socially hybrid, temporally open, and subject to regulatory change – the ‘undefined cities’.
