Think Tank – the Future of Detached Houses
Detached houses are incrementally under transformation: extensions, energetic restoration, addition of stories, plot divisions etc. Students investigate exemplary strategies for future adaptations together with owners of a neighborhood in the city of Münster-Hiltrup.
“Urban by Nature” – the International Architecture Biennale 2014 in Rotterdam looks at the city as a metabolic system. Studio FLOWS investigates natural and urban resources and their identification in the cycle of materials, energy balances and life patterns as a point of departure for a bachelor-thesis. (Abb. M.
